So, to begin, I hope you have seen that I have begun my new baseball series “60 Moments” where I am counting down the 60 greatest moments in baseball history as seen through the strange lens that I use to see the world.
The 61st moment: Council of Foreign Relations citing “the American philosopher Yogi Berra”: https://cdn.cfr.org/sites/default/files/report_pdf/the-end-of-world-order-and-american-foreign-policy-csr.pdf
How the hell have you never had a sip of bourbon before?
This reminds me I’ve been dying to know the secret behind the Shadowball 100. Hope you can share sometime!
I absolutely love “Justified”. Perhaps they could do a movie like “Deadwood”.
I guessed 7% made it to the WS.
I know whereof you speak.
Congratulations to Elizabeth for finishing high school!
For those interested in the deeper rabbit hole:

Wow. That baseball reference site just continues to amaze me with all the info it has. Thanks for this
Another reason to hate the Yankees.
Reggie: 5 (3 with Oakland)
On twitter, Joe says he didn't count Reggie because he missed the '72 series.
You will love Brooklyn 99. Captain Holt alone, is good for 2-3 "laugh out louds"every episode.
Poor Babe Ruth; first he misses out on the #1 slot and is now ignominiously left off the list of 7 time World Series winners.
4 Yankees 3 Red Sox. Joe you're in big trouble this time!
Did you skip 1903, Red Sox over Pirates?
Was wondering the same thing.
