Substack does not recognize me as a subscriber. Do I have to start a new subscription from scratch? Please let this be the last time I have to switch platforms to follow along. After decades of meandering, with every switch guaranteeing that things would really be better now, I feel like a battered reader
"But the Mudvilles weren't worried. Casey had seen the kid's repertoire, and he was a celebrated two-strike hitter. The cranks were all on their feet, hollering, and Thayer, even on tiptoes, had to hop this way and that to follow the action. In fact, he missed it when Casey, staring out at the pitcher, spotted Flossie directly behind him, watching from straightaway center, standing out against the crowd in her maid's uniform. For just a moment Casey smiled at her, and then something came over him. Before he knew it, he had raised his bat, pointing it toward center, calling a home run right over his dear Flossie's head. The crowd roared."
I see the site has switched. I did notice that comments to the earlier stories did not migrate, but I don't know if that is a temporary glitch or just something that had to give when you switched.
Hi Joe! anyone ever check the email box for Joe Blogs? Sent about 5 or 6 in past ?18 mos? reporting this issue. Ever since shifted site. Never received a reply. to any of ‘em.
If I recall, the original Substack comments didn’t migrate with the switch to Beehiiv so it doesn’t surprise me that they didn’t migrate the other way either.
Where do I find the Clubhouse on the Substack platform? Thanks

So happy to be back on a site that works.
Amen.
It appears the Clubhouse content did not migrate. Is that correct? I see they are in the 2025 archive though.
My favorite Frank Deford piece is his take on what *really* happened in "Casey at the Bat":

Welcome back!
Well .... im in! And i can go over to the 2025 Archive! Of course, the Dodgers did not consult me and as a result, they signed Kyle Tucker!
So my question is - Why do the Padres managers keep resigning? Is it because they don't believe they can catch the dodgers? Or something else?

No, posts and comments won't migrate, but they are preserved in the 2025 archive.
