Well done, Joe! I think the covid years took their toll on so many of us. My dear wife encouraged me to have an affair.... with chocolate chip cookies, for which I am a sucker. Those, and a more sedentary life for several years, added on the Pandemic Poundage. I decided to lose it last spring, and by August, I had lost the 20 that I wanted to shed. Although it's nothing like your glorious achievement, it still took some serious discipline (high protein, low carbs, no sugar, intermittent fasting and one or two days per week skipping dinner). I have a couple of decades on you, and it seems that the weight comes off more slowly.

One piece of purely unsolicited advice: now get strong. In my early 60's, I took up strength training by joining a gym and learning how to lift weights safely and correctly. Like many oldsters, I always imagined that I would "get back into shape", but had no idea how I might do it. This book helped me a lot. I recommend it highly. I'm 76, and in the best shape I've been in since my 30's.

Keep going, Joe. I want to read you for a lot more years!
