I see that buried in that cast of otherwise D-listers in "Murder At The World Series," along with the mayor from Jaws, is Janet Leigh, who (1) took an unfortunate shower in "Psycho," (2) played a very, very weird role in "The Manchurian Candidate," and (3) starred in an actually good baseball movie, the original 1951 "Angels In the Outfield." And as most people know, was the mother of Jamie Lee Curtis.

This should be a fun series!

#1 for me is Talent for the Game. Not because it’s a good movie but because my dad was one of the miners they used as an extra in the scene where Edward James Olmos went down into a silver mine to watch a kid pitch. It was cool seeing his face on the big screen!

(The real #1 for me is the Sandlot)
