Is last night's event with Tyler Kepner available as a podcast? Or maybe a recording is available on another website? I tuned in just as it was finishing up because I got confused with the time zones.
I had intended to have five copies of The Baseball 100 inscribed by Joe. My wife called Rainy Day Books to order them and she was told that the cost of delivery to Canada might be USD $80 per book, though they would not be able to confirm the delivery price until after the deadline for ordering had passed.
That was a shame as I would have liked to have them, one for me and the others for friends. I decided to buy them locally and inscribe them myself. That should go over well.
man … that first partial list was indeed a long time ago. Trying to remember if that was on SI? Sports on Earth? Joe Blogs v 1? Recall the list pulling up short, and like a season of ‘The Expanse’, wondering if it WOULD finish? If there WOULD be a final season? And then? Multiple versions. A FINAL final. No wait, Joe means it this time. In any event, all VERY GOOD. And very in time for holidays.
The Shadowball 100 would have been interesting to finish also. Part of one of his Baseball 100 lists can be found at https://wp.joeposnanski.com/baseball-100-2/. Other version(s) probably existed at one time at Patreon, Sports on Earth, NBC, medium.com, his pre-Atlantic Substack, etc. I hope they weren't lost to obscurity. During his Athletic run, one of his Brilliant Readers included the lists (and maybe their URLs). I hope Joe's original articles still exist out in the ether somewhere. The writing was too good to be lost forever.
What happened to Juan Marichal???

I do not have a twitter account so I will say this here - congratulations Joe on the extraordinary response to The Baseball 100. This is remarkable.

Jack Conklin is on the Browns? For the life of me I don't understand why a team would let a killer offensive lineman like Conklin walk.

There was a TON or non 100 stuff I’d love to be able to link reread. Some of Joe’s finest writing.
Will you be giving your ranking (and accompanying essays) of the inscriptions you have been asked to do?
When will you come to L.A.?
Thanks again for the inscription! Can't wait to get my copy and go through the list again.
Will any of the events be live streamed? Can those who ordered the Baseball 100 from Rainy Day Books long ago join in?
I’m overwhelmed with delight to see my book!
