Joe, as an avid tennis player myself, I would love to hear about your recent exploits on the courts. During the Harry Potter Diet series, I seem to recall that you were going to write a post about how playing tennis contributed to your weight loss, but it never appeared. Also, last month you tweeted that "for the first time in my life I am totally grooving my backhand". Did you make some sort of Djoker-esque revelation? What changed? I hope you write about this topic in the future.
Joe since there are no comments on the Houdini site, do you know whether you plan to do a Chicago book signing? It impacts whether I’d potentially order a signed book online.
Well, there will be some non-sports posts here, but I think your point is mostly right. Those of us that have followed Joe over the years have formed a community, and even if we don't post much, we avidly read each other's comments. I think we lose something there.
I don't blame Joe for monetizing his blog, but I wonder if his had charged more here at Substack, if it would have worked out to keep everything here.

Your tennis writing is always so great, Joe. As much as I'm here for the baseball stuff, I'd love to see more tennis thoughts from you, too.
It didn't take long for the comments to disappear. I guess paying for this is a waste.
