An idea for future baseball player profiles... the "Hall of Shooting Stars." There are so many brilliant, bright shining stars in baseball history who dominated in short bursts that we shouldn't lose. This was inspired by the Fernando Valenzuela entry... players who made an indelible mark on the game, but whose peak came and went in just a few years. Tim Lincecum's greatness comes to mind in terms of recent players. I'm sure there are guys from other eras who dominated in similar ways, but whose stories are not as familiar.

Joe, if doing 150 or 200 seems overwhelming, you could stop at 108. There are 108 stitches on a baseball.
