Kinda strange that with their season on the line, down by two with two runners on base, the Braves, touted as having one of the greatest lineups ever, brought to the plate Kevin Pillar (74 OPS+), Eddie Rosario (100 OPS+), and Vaughn Grissom (78 OPS+)--no?

My biggest gripe of this postseason is how much dead time there is. The LCS matchups were finalized Thursday night, and we get two days before the ALCS starts and three days before the NLCS starts. In particular, the ALCS should be starting Friday, since Houston clinched Wednesday and Texas on Tuesday. That means will have four days (!) between games. It's absolutely ludicrous.

After working hard to eliminate dead time between pitches, MLB took all the dead time from the regular season and deployed it in the form of off days in the postseason. Talk about draining the tension out of every matchup.
