I like your plan/ideas, Joe. A weekly email newsletter with everything sounds perfect to me, personally. Thanks for all you do! I'm really, really looking forward to reading the new book!!
Thanks Joe, I can live with whatever works best for you, but I do prefer the individual emails because I’m most at ease and familiar with how to handle emails. I like the Athletic, but by far my #1 desire is to read everything you write. So whatever is the best way to insure I never miss your writing is what works best for me!
I like the individual emails. I really enjoy reading the articles when they are posted. Twitter is a bit hit and miss and I don't use The Athletic for much more than to read your posts. Any new stuff like the weekly newsletter is really exciting. I look forward to reading more of your work. I love your family stories, they are really heartwarming.
Personally, I like receiving emails when you post an article. Like others, I don't always check The Athletic so I would hate to miss something that you wrote. I actually miss receiving the full articles in an email instead of just links. I know that websites and archives disappear, so having the article saved in my email meant I did not have to worry about that.
Along with a lot of people here, I like the emails for each Athletic article. I don't always check that site religiously, maybe a few times a week, but I always like getting the notification that one of your articles is up so I know to go there right away (or at least as soon as I have a few minutes to read). If it's easier to just send out the weekly that's fine - I can just check more often. But from my end, I prefer the emails for each one.
I like your plan. I have RSS set up for your content (thank you BR for the RSS link for the Athletic) so I don't need the little emails. Kind of excited to see the newsletter.
That Athletic search page is a bit tricky. If you look for Specific Author and type Posnanski, you will see TWO entries. Well, the first one is a red herring. You won't find anything this year. The second Posnanski is the one you want.
I'd prefer not to get the emails, but it's not a huge deal. I'm hoping to see articles on the Hall of Fame candidates, especially the new ones, and the '70s-'80s players, whatever that's called, Modern Era Ballot or something.
Joe, I like the emails but love the idea of the weekly newsletter. And I’m hoping that if you go to aweekly newsletter that will generate a lot more comments here as there used to be. Really miss the discussion among BR’s - having a mixed group (some BR’s, some not) comment at The Athletic isn’t as enjoyable. Guess I’ve become a bit of a BR snob...
Shadowball 100!!! I really want those pieces as well. They were super fun. Don't abandon that idea...

looks like i'm not alone, but figured i'd chime in anyways. I like getting the emails notifying me of the athletic pieces as well.

Agreed.
Well, I like your email notifications for all your Athletic columns. I’d prefer if you continue just a you have.

I like the emails too. But since my search skills seem to have failed me, can someone show me the link to the personal RSS feed?
Weekly digest sounds fine. But I appreciate the emails and hope you keep sending them.

I like the emails personally. I get excited when I see one in my inbox.

Newsletter idea sounds good.
