I live in Japan but according to the Rainy Day site: "YES, WE SHIP AUTHOR AUTOGRAPHED BOOKS NATIONWIDE! RainyDayBooks.com ONLY ACCEPTS ORDERS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." This saddens me to no end...

Preordered although cheaper on Amazon. Please write legibly, Joe. Have enjoyed your previous books. (John Mabry sends regards from Lincoln.)

Pre-ordered from Rainy Day and chose an inscription about Sam Rutigliano. Decided you'll have enough people doing baseball-themed captions this time. :)

I love the pre-order inscription idea and supporting your local indie bookstore. Next time I'm in KC I'll have to check them out!

Pre-ordered long ago from Indigo in Canada.

Of course I will be pre ordering from Rainy Day books and of course you will caption it "Buddy Biancalana and Frank White were the greatest double play combo in MLB history"

I'm going to have to pre-order from Rainy Day Books so I can get *the exact same inscription* that I did in "The Baseball 100".

Ordered via Rainy Day with special inscription. Related: I'm glad you're finally getting around to apologizing for moving Harmon Killebrew from No. 67 on your first top 100 list to not making the cut at all. It takes a big man to own up to his mistakes like that.

Will you be doing a Rainy Day presentation in person? My wife and I regularly attend those in KC.

There will be a lengthy reserve list at the library, but I'll wait and then see if I'll buy it. The Baseball 100 was great on Audible Books, so maybe I'll get it there.

Based on the experiences you shared when you signed all those copies of the Baseball 100, I call a 50/50 chance you will seek medical opinion from Dr. James Andrews about your UCL after this one.

What about those of us who buy e-books? How do we get inscriptions?

I'd rather get a root canal than watch a baseball game today. But I'd rather read Joe writing about baseball than anyone else writing about anything.

Pre-ordered. I'm so excited for September. The Baseball 100 was perfect, and I think the content and structure of Why We Love Baseball appeals to me even more.
